The Australian Constructors Association, along with our peer associations Consult Australia, Australasian Railway Association, Engineers Australia, Roads Australia and the Association of Consulting Architects, have reconvened the annual pause procurement Christmas campaign.

The campaign calls on public and private sectors to close live procurement processes over the end-of-year holiday period. Engaging with 114 clients/agencies across sectors including defence, transport, local government, social infrastructure, resources and utilities, we are raising the critical importance of giving everyone the opportunity at all levels of the industry to have a well-deserved, uninterrupted rest. People are the industry’s most valuable asset and we must support the wellbeing of our teams and people.

In 2024, the industry is calling on clients to respect a tender pause for wellbeing between Monday 16 December 2024 and Monday 6 January 2025.
