The Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) was established in 2002 to develop a sustainable property industry in Australia and drive the adoption of green building practices through market-based solutions.
The Green Building Council educates industry and government practitioners and decision-makers, promote green building programs, technologies, design practices and operations. They also rate the sustainability of buildings and communities through Australia’s only national, voluntary, holistic rating system – Green Star.
